NNIP Idea Showcase & Network Update, November 2015
After partners expressed the desire for more interactions among partners between in-person meetings, we began holding our virtual idea showcases. It gave several partners the chance to share ideas and projects they were working on, and to connect with other interested partners after the webinar. Our last Idea Showcase of 2015 is back!
NNIP HQ started with a quick update on network activities, followed by a series of presentations from partners...
- Peter Tatian shared his experiences mapping client info from local nonprofits against data from NeighborhoodInfo DC
- Jessie Partridge from MAPC demonstrated a prototype of a web tool currently in development in Boston
- Denise Groesbeck and Joe Baldwin of the Juvenile Welfare Board and Pinellas County shared the community engagement efforts and final results from their IDS project
- Mary Buchanan from DataHaven followed her Dallas Ignite presentation with additional discussion of the Connecticut Community Wellbeing Survey, focusing on the differential responses based on socioeconomic and environmental factors
