Lisa was the Senior Research and Evaluation Analyst at The Children’s Trust of Miami-Dade, FL from 2007 - 2018. Her expertise in program and systems evaluation, outcomes measurement, and public policy analysis has advanced The Trust’s mission to improve the lives of children and their families.  Lisa oversees all community-level research, evaluation and needs assessment, and manages community initiatives requiring collaboration-building and cross-agency/cross-systems efforts. She is an active volunteer advocate on behalf of all children, especially those living in foster care.

During her years in the workforce, Lisa has enjoyed a variety of work and life experiences including: non-profit sector evaluator, business-education partnership consultant, university professor, regional economic development manager, federal economist and Peace Corps volunteer.

Lisa earned her Ph.D. in Economics from George Washington University in Washington, DC, in 1999. She has undergraduate degrees in Economics from California State University at Sacramento, and in International Relations from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Lisa has lived in Miami-Dade County for the past 20 years.
