Research & Data Officer

Adam is is a certified urban planner, data scientist, software developer, and project manager with a penchant for stewardship and a continuous-improvement mindset.  He currently serves as the Research & Data Officer for the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC), where he leads a team of data analysts to support MORPC's transportation planning, sustainability, economic development, and community development objectives, as well as the data needs of the counties, cities, villages, townships, and regional organizations that comprise the organization's membership.  Prior to coming to MORPC, Adam was the Senior Researcher at the Center for Urban and Regional Analysis (CURA) at The Ohio State University where he contributed to research focused on Central Ohio and spanning a wide array of topics including sustainability, the opioid epidemic, infant mortality, smart city programs, transit accessibility, and traffic congestion.  Prior to that he was an electrical engineer and manufacturing engineer at Battelle Memorial Institute.  He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and holds a Master of City and Regional Planning degree, a M.S. Electrical and Computer Engineering degree, and a B.S. Electrical and Computer Engineering degree, all from The Ohio State University.
