Nicole obtained her Master of Urban & Regional Planning degree from the University of Florida in May of 2022. She has strong interest in urban and environmental sustainability. She is the 2022 recipient of the University of Florida Carl Feiss Urban & Environmental Design Award for having completed a research project on how green spaces can reduce the effects of climate change. Additionally, Nicole has worked within city planning offices coordinating efforts on short- and long-range planning needs including Capital Grant projects, housing and commercial developments, and city beautification.
