I was born in the architectural mecca of Columbus, Indiana, and I have always been interested in architecture and city planning. After studying jazz at Indiana University, I received a Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from Ball State University. I am now a research analyst with The Polis Center at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. We support community development and social efforts through data development, research, and the development of interactive data tools. I am interested in race in planning and development, as well as "informal data", especially in conversations of gentrification and neighborhood change.
