Marc Rostan is a Senior Research Associate at Thoughtwell and has been with the organization since April 2016. Prior to joining Thoughtwell, his Graduate studies in City and Regional Planning and work experience at the affordable housing developer Homeport laid the foundation for both an in-depth base of local knowledge and evaluating marketability in traditional urban environments. In his time at Thoughtwell, skills in GIS analysis, Adobe InDesign publishing, and systematic research methods have been employed in an array of projects. He has strived to make data of local importance understandable to a wide audience from work on the Columbus Women’s Commission Briefing Book and the forthcoming Columbus Neighborhood Benchmarking, and make multiple components of study equal more than the sum of their parts through leadership of the ongoing Oklahoma City Benchmarking and Comprehensive Needs Assessment. Marc firmly believes in sustainable and inclusive strategies for economic development.
