Research Assistant
Kassie Scott is a research assistant in the Metropolitan Housing and Communities Policy Center at the Urban Institute.
 
Before joining Urban, Scott was a program management coordinator at The Kaizen Company, where she supported development projects based in Liberia and Uganda. She also studied in London with funding from the US-UK Fulbright Commission and conducted ethnographic research on housing rights in Romania at the site of a toxic landfill.
 
Scott graduated with honors from Washington and Lee University. She has bachelor’s degrees in sociology and English, with a minor in poverty and human capability studies.
