Ethan’s desire is that his work improves the lives and conditions of the people in the community where he lives. Knowing that good data and the stories it can tell leads to improvements big and small, Ethan works to utilize the best available data and techniques. Ethan has been with MORPC since April 2021 as a Data Analyst. As part of his roll at MORPC, Ethan works across departments aiding in collecting, cleaning, and managing data for creating compelling narratives and visuals for dashboards, reports, and internal and external communications. Ethan also serves as the MORPC staff person for the Regional Information and Data Group (RIDG), which is a group of Central Ohio data users from the private and public sectors that meet quarterly to discuss new and interesting topics related to data. Prior to his work at MORPC, he worked at Measurement Resources Company (MRC) as a Research Associate working with nonprofits and state and local governments on project and program evaluations and implementation. Ethan earned his Master of Public Administration degree from the John Glenn College of Public Affairs at The Ohio State University, focusing on energy and environmental policy evaluation and analysis. He earned his B.A. in general science; concentration Green Technologies, with minors in Leadership Studies and Government from Tiffin University after completing a summer program with the Solar Foundation in Washington DC as a Research and Policy Fellow.
