The Data Search Tool is a new online application that provides direct access to New York City data collected by the NYU Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy. Visitors to the site can select from a range of variables to create customized maps, downloadable tables, and track trends over time. The Data Search Tool offers a broad array of community indicators, including data on demographics, neighborhood conditions, transportation, housing stock and other aspects of the local real estate market. Users are able to overlay never-before available detailed data on privately-owned, publicly-subsidized affordable housing programs collected through the Furman Center’s Subsidized Housing Information Project (SHIP).
