Institute for Affordable Housing Policy Launches Subsidized Housing Information Project

After more than three years of development, we launched the Subsidized Housing Information Project (SHIP). This interactive database consolidates information on nearly 235,000 units of privately-owned subsidized rental housing from 50 private and public data sources into one searchable website. Almost 180 government officials and policymakers, affordable housing developers, non-profit housing organizations and other affordable housing experts joined us to mark the release of the SHIP with a roundtable discussion and reception.
