Presentation by Liz Monk

University Center for Social and Urban Research   (Pittsburgh)

This presentation was part of the Ignite Showcase at the NNIP May 2015 partners meeting

The University of Pittsburgh Center for Social and Urban Research contracted with The Providence Plan to adapt their Community Profiles Tool to apply it to Southwestern Pennsylvania. One of the goals of the project was to make it easier to deploy the application in other cities, and possibly use it as a platform for a shared cross-site indicators system. This is a brief overview into UCSUR’s experience with the transfer of the technology.
