Urban Strategies Council co-sponsors CityCamp Oakland

The 1st Annual CityCamp Oakland unconference will be held on December 1, 2012, in Oakland’s City Hall,  organized by Openoakland- A Code for America Brigade.  OpenOakland brings citizens, city government, and businesses together to openly innovate and improve our quality of life through technology.

The meeting will be bring together people to share ideas to enhance government transparency, citizen participation, and accountability, which will support more informed, healthy, livable communities.

It will also build on the success of the Code for Oakland Hack-a-thons and other exciting developments in the tech and civic communities in Oakland.
