The Impact of Higher Education and Health Care Institutions (“Eds & Meds”) on the City of Camden

As anchor institutions, Camden’s eight higher education and health care institutions play a large role in the City’s revitalization. CamConnect recently partnered with these institutions to collect and analyze key human capital, physical capital, budget, and services metrics. The work culminated with a report detailing employment trends, analysis of the economic impact, and overall effect on the community. CamConnect will continue collecting and analyzing these metrics on a biannual basis.
