Research & Evaluation Analyst

Ms. Ashley Pugh joined the Trust in 2019 as a Research and Evaluation Analyst for the Early Childhood Development initiative.

Prior to joining The Trust, Ms. Pugh worked as Project Manager for an international development consulting firm, IOS Partners, working across Africa and the Caribbean, where she provided direct support to Governments. Ms. Pugh also worked in maternal and child health for HOPE Foundation for Women and Children of Bangladesh, a nonprofit hospital and health network, serving vulnerable women and children in rural Bangladesh. Her research on the applicability of a smart-phone enabled urinalysis device to detect eclampsia in pregnant mothers in poor resource settings, as well as the prevalence of obstetric fistula amongst the Rohingya refugee population in Bangladesh, has been published. She has served in numerous roles within human rights organizations and as a Refugee Resettlement Case Manager in Baltimore, Maryland, for the International Rescue Committee.

Ms. Pugh earned a M.A. degree in International Development from the University of Kent, Brussels School of International Studies, where she specialized in International Law. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland, where she minored in Political Science, History, German, and Conflict and Dispute Resolution.
