Anne Wright works on demographic mapping and community engagement as part of the EarthTime team at the CREATE Lab at Carnegie Mellon University. She works with people and communities of practice, such as housing and environmental advocates and advocacy groups, to support their work through data visualization-based exploration and storytelling. She also supports collaborative efforts such as Eviction Rapid Response, which does outreach to defendants in eviction cases, and the RentHelpPGH resource navigation project. She received B.S. and M.Eng. degrees in computer science and electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1996. After leaving MIT, she joined the Intelligent Robotics Group at NASA Ames Research Center where she served as Lead Systems Engineer for Prototype Mars Rovers. She has been working with the CREATE Lab since 2010.
