The Role of Data in Disaster Recovery

This presentation to the "Puerto Rico Housing and Data" workshop briefly describes the role of the Data Center of Southeast Lousiana in providing critical data and analysis after Hurricane Katrina. She describes the key information that residents, businesses, nonprofits, funders, and governments needed to make decisions as the city recovered, and provides some general advice for providing data for disaster recovery.
