Using Data to Improve Health Services is a workshop for Community Supported Clinics hosted by the Population Research Center at Portland State University. The training emphasizes:

  • Important sources of data 
  • The construction of community profiles
  • Obtaining and mapping similar data

 

The training includes a comparison and discussion of Census data and ACS 1-year and 5-year estimates. Additionally, the training includes a section on accessing health data, evaluating the usefulness of potential health data, and survey methods. Finally, there is guidance for building community profiles.
