This workshop will focus on the structure of a good focus group or listening session including what to do before, during, and after the focus group.  We will also discuss important considerations to keep in mind for virtual facilitation with social distancing in mind. Topics include:

  • When and how to obtain consent

  • How to protect confidentiality

  • How to ask questions that invite meaningful, less biased feedback

  • Facilitation tips to help ensure everyone can participate in discussion

  • How to analyze focus group data
