NNIP/CURA Symposium: Neighborhood Responses to the Foreclosure Crisis

he symposium featured an overview of the foreclosure problem and community responses, a panel discussion on “Thinking Strategically about Foreclosure Response,” presentations on foreclosure solution strategies, and afternoon workshops on strategies for dealing with the foreclosure problem on the ground (including Outreach/Organizing for Prevention, Managing Foreclosed Properties, Acquisition of Foreclosed Properties, and Land Banking). Sponsored by the National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP) and the University of Minnesota’s Center for Urban and Regional Affairs (CURA).
