Lead Software Developer/Manager

UCSUR is recruiting a lead software developer to provide direction, supervision, planning, and management to a growing team of research programmers. Along with these supervisory duties, this position will provide direct computer programming services for the Western Pennsylvania Regional Data Center (WPRD) project. The WPRDC is a cooperation between the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, local foundations, CMU and the University of Pittsburgh. TheWPRDC supports a high visibility open data initiative The lead software developer will, also, provide management and programming services to a variety of other grant funded research projects at UCSUR. Responsibilities include the development, management, and direction of secured database systems for web (including social media), mobile (iOS, Android), and PC platforms. Additional responsibilities include maintenance of enterprise database software as well as providing technical consultation to other research staff and clients.
