Following Mayor Walsh's call for increased youth summer hiiring, Boston’s Civic Tech Data Collaborative (CTDC Boston) is working to build a youth summer jobs program. Led by MAPC’s Digital Services team, the Collaborative is working with staff at Boston's SuccessLink program to build capacity for more efficient youth job placement. The project involves youth directly to help shape a usable and efficient program.  Partners include:
  • Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC)
  • The City of Boston’s Department of Information Technology (DoIT)
  • The City of Boston’s Division of Youth Engagement and Employment (DYEE)
  • Volunteer programers and designers from Code for Boston
  • Experts in metrics and performance measurement at the Boston Indicators Project and MIT’s Department of Economics
