The UNC Charlotte Urban Institute is sponsoring a series of free public neighborhood walks from April 22 and lasting throughout May. F unding provided by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation .
City Walks are part of a national and global celebration-- known as Jane Jacob's Walks or Jane's Walks -- of free, citizen-led walking tours inspired by Jane Jacobs.
