Carrie Koss Vallejo, Data Advocate, is experienced in researching best practices, developing agency and partnership level indicators, and sustaining stakeholder involvement.  She has experience serving on evaluation teams on projects ranging from large federal grants, to multi-agency collaboratives, to internal performance evaluations. She served as the principal researcher in identifying and documenting free and community clinics in Milwaukee and has additional experience in documenting needed services and identifying service gaps. Carrie has served as a community health worker and collected data on the sensitive subject of children’s mental health. Carrie is a native Spanish speaker and has bi-lingual and cultural translation, interpretation, and interviewing skills. Additionally, Carrie has worked with relational data sets focused on crime, demographics and education. Her expertise includes mapping and data visualization. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.  She is currently studying Community and Economic Development at Penn State.
