Research Associate

Claire LeBlanc is a Research Associate at the Institute for Urban Policy Research, where she is responsible for qualitative analysis and data evaluation and plays an active part in project management. She brings to the Institute a wide array of skills accumulated from her diverse background and her interests include research in the areas of criminal justice, public health, and community development. Prior to joining the Institute, Claire attended Austin College where she worked as a reporter for the Herald Democrat and volunteered as an ESL coordinator of the International Rescue Committee in Dallas. Her degree in International Relations and Spanish enabled her to work with various community development service organizations in Mexico, Paraguay, and India. Before attending her alma mater, Claire served as a part of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps in the Pacific Northwest.
