Assessment of Need and Opportunities for Data Intermediary Services in the Hartford Capital Region

Commissioned by the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, this report includes a high level of summary of themes, opportunities and actions related to creating and maintaining data intermediary services in the Hartford Capital Region.  HartfordInfo at the Hartford Public Library became an NNIP partner in 2003, but the program officially ended in 2014.  The assessment process included an examination of recent/past work delivered by HartfordInfo, similar and related services provided by other organizations and institutions in the Capital Region, and lessons for the Capital Region from the experience of data intermediaries in the Urban Institute’s National Neighborhood Indicators Partnership (NNIP).  The document contains the executive summary and the full report.
