The Local Employment Dynamics Partnership Annual Workshop

September 11, 2017 - September 12, 2017

Join us for our 2017 Local Employment Dynamics (LED) Partnership Annual Workshop.  This year’s workshop is September 11-12 at the US Census Bureau at 4600 Silver Hill Road in Suitland, Md.  The LED Partnership is a collaborative partnership between state data agencies and the Census Bureau to leverage existing data in the development of new sources of economic and demographic information for policy makers and data users.  The workshop provides professional development and networking for Labor Market Information directors, data analysts and data providers at state and federal agencies, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and other data users.

The theme for this year’s workshop is “Exposing Potential of LED Data." We will be highlighting the work of our state Labor Market Information (LMI) partners and other state and local data users through plenary and breakout sessions.  By popular demand, we will also be offering hands-on training opportunities throughout the workshop.

The workshop will include presentations, working sessions, and panel discussions on:

·         Earnings in the US Economy

·         Making the most of Published LED Data

·         Training on using the new Job-to-Job Explorer application and QWI Application Interface (API)

·         LED in Action

·         Recent Development in LED

·         Ask an LED Staffer

Further details and an agenda will be posted on our website. Information on previous workshops can also be found at http://lehd.ces.census.gov/learning/.
