DataHaven Health Impact Assessment

DataHaven   (New Haven - Connecticut)

May 2011

DataHaven is working with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars and City New Haven on a Health Impact Assessment (HIA) of the Route 34 boulevardization (“Downtown Crossing”) project, a major redevelopment funded through the DOT’s TIGER program.  The project is one of the first, or the first, HIAs to be conducted in the state of Connecticut and is intended to serve as a model for future HIAs. DataHaven is providing indicator data and assisted in the writing of a grant to expand the scope of the HIA.
